{"id":3539,"date":"2023-12-27T20:00:48","date_gmt":"2023-12-27T20:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/segurarse.com.uy\/blog\/?p=3539"},"modified":"2025-05-12T18:57:22","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T18:57:22","slug":"controles-donde-estan-los-nuevos-radares-de-velocidad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/segurarse.com.uy\/blog\/2023\/12\/27\/controles-donde-estan-los-nuevos-radares-de-velocidad\/","title":{"rendered":"Controles: d\u00f3nde est\u00e1n los nuevos radares de velocidad"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Es importante saber d\u00f3nde est\u00e1n los nuevos radares de velocidad para no sufrir costosas multas de tr\u00e1nsito.<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A mediados del 2023, <\/span><b>en Uruguay se instalaron m\u00e1s de 100 nuevos radares de velocidad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> para controlar que los conductores no sobrepasaran los l\u00edmites y causaran accidentes de tr\u00e1nsito.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Nuevos radares de velocidad<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gub.uy\/ministerio-transporte-obras-publicas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ministerio de Transporte y Obras P\u00fablicas<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(MTOP)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de Uruguay, <\/span><b>aquellos nuevos radares son de \u00faltima tecnolog\u00eda y cumplen la normativa internacional<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. T\u00e9cnicamente, cuentan con un porcentaje de captaci\u00f3n y registro de infracciones de un 97% a partir de los 10 kil\u00f3metros por hora.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>C\u00f3mo funcionan los nuevos radares de velocidad en Uruguay<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los nuevos radares de velocidad funcionan <\/span><b>las 24 horas de los 365 d\u00edas del a\u00f1o<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y en cualquier situaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica. Al ser <\/span><b>multicarril y bidireccionales<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, pueden detectar infractores que circulan en ambos sentidos de la v\u00eda, incluso cuando hay varios veh\u00edculos presentes. Adem\u00e1s, los dispositivos cuentan con <\/span><b>c\u00e1maras de alta definici\u00f3n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> incorporadas para poder capturar im\u00e1genes y grabar videos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al registrar que un veh\u00edculo supera el l\u00edmite de velocidad, los nuevos radares de velocidad<\/span><b> asocian la infracci\u00f3n a la matr\u00edcula<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> correspondiente y <\/span><b>generan un reporte completo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que incluye informaci\u00f3n como la fecha, hora, minutos y segundos, evidencia fotogr\u00e1fica y de video. M\u00e1s tarde, estos datos son enviados al sistema del MTOP para su validaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/resizer.glanacion.com\/resizer\/v2\/uruguay-instalo-mas-de-100-radares-en-las-rutas-MWS5NAKHV5HKFORPMIC6AXKJUE.jpeg?auth=6a2528e43cb6758de01c09c4e8fbe1b7fb1b98beaf42f17067819609419877c5&amp;width=880&amp;height=586&amp;quality=70&amp;smart=true\" alt=\"controles-radares-uruguay\" width=\"880\" height=\"586\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es importante saber que los nuevos radares de velocidad fueron colocados en \u00e1reas donde se registraba un alto n\u00famero de <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Siniestro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">siniestros<\/a> de tr\u00e1nsito<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Si bien no es obligatorio para la Normativa Nacional, en todos los casos se instalaron <\/span><b>carteles de advertencia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que cumplen con las disposiciones vigentes en cuanto a distancia, dimensiones y tipograf\u00eda, para informar a los conductores.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>D\u00f3nde est\u00e1n los nuevos radares de velocidad<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span El MTOP cuenta con un <\/span><b>Sistema de Avisos de Infracciones por Excesos de Velocidad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en el que pod\u00e9s registrar tu veh\u00edculo para recibir notificaciones en caso de detectarse una infracci\u00f3n mediante el Sistema de Fiscalizaci\u00f3n Electr\u00f3nica de Velocidades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No obstante, ante la posibilidad de no recibir la notificaci\u00f3n a tiempo y que el plazo para el pago empiece a correr, es recomendable realizar una <\/span><b>consulta online<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Por ejemplo, pod\u00e9s comprobar si ten\u00e9s una multa activa en el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/consultas-velocidad.mtop.gub.uy\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sitio web del MTOP<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Solo necesit\u00e1s ingresar el <\/span><b>n\u00famero de matr\u00edcula<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y el <\/span><b>n\u00famero de padr\u00f3n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, o la fecha en la que ocurri\u00f3 la posible infracci\u00f3n si la matr\u00edcula es extranjera, y la informaci\u00f3n estar\u00e1 disponible <\/span><b>72 horas h\u00e1biles despu\u00e9s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> la detecci\u00f3n de los radares.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s, algunos municipios cuentan con plataformas espec\u00edficas en donde pod\u00e9s consultar si ten\u00e9s multas activas. Por ejemplo, en el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/tramites.montevideo.gub.uy\/consultainfracciones?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">portal de tr\u00e1mites<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de la <\/span><b>Intendencia de Montevideo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> existe un sistema de consulta de infracciones donde tambi\u00e9n podr\u00e1s descargar las boletas de pago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si el veh\u00edculo con el que te capt\u00f3 uno de los nuevos radares de velocidad est\u00e1 registrado <\/span><b>a nombre de una empresa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, es probable que la multa no te aparezca, ya que le llegar\u00e1 al responsable legal. Frente a esta situaci\u00f3n, deber\u00e1s coordinar el pago y la asignaci\u00f3n de la infracci\u00f3n internamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por \u00faltimo, si cre\u00e9s que se te aplic\u00f3 una multa de forma injusta, ten\u00e9s derecho a realizar un <\/span><b>reclamo formal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. El valor de la multa est\u00e1 regulado por el Decreto N\u00ba 329\/021 del 22 de septiembre de 2021 y el Decreto N\u00ba 176\/024 del 20 de junio de 2024, y var\u00eda seg\u00fan la gravedad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El importe de las multas se calcula por franjas y tomando como referencia el \u00faltimo valor vigente de las <\/span><b>Unidades Reajustables (UR)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> al momento del pago. En abril de 2025, cada una equivale a <\/span><b>$1.819,41<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por exceder hasta 20 kil\u00f3metros por hora el l\u00edmite de velocidad permitido: <\/span><b>5 UR ($9.097,05)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por exceder entre 21 y 30 kil\u00f3metros por hora el l\u00edmite de velocidad permitido: 8 UR <\/span><b>($14.555,28)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por exceder por encima de los 31 kil\u00f3metros por hora el l\u00edmite de velocidad permitido: 12 UR <\/span><b>($21.832,92)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por exceder por encima del doble o m\u00e1s del l\u00edmite de velocidad permitido: <\/span><b>15 UR ($27.291,15)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las multas se pueden abonar a trav\u00e9s del sitio web oficial de <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sucive.gub.uy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SUCIVE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ya sea mediante la opci\u00f3n de pago en l\u00ednea o en redes de cobranza habilitadas. Si bien <\/span><b>no se otorgan descuentos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> por pagar en poco tiempo, es posible realizar un convenio de pago en la Intendencia donde se encuentra empadronado el veh\u00edculo para obtener un <\/span><b>plazo m\u00e1ximo de 12 cuotas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, sin recargos adicionales.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Impacto de los nuevos radares de velocidad<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan los datos oficiales de la Unidad Nacional de Seguridad Vial, estos nuevos radares de velocidad <\/span><b>ayudar\u00e1n a disminuir los accidentes de tr\u00e1nsito que surgen por la alta velocidad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De hecho, en el primer semestre de 2023, gracias a estos dispositivos, <\/span><b>los fallecimientos en rutas nacionales cayeron m\u00e1s de un 29% interanualmente<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, es decir, murieron 39 personas menos.
